CoolDisplays.net allows you to mark any number of displays as personal favorites. Once a display is a favorite, you may assign one or more points (votes) to it. Your points plus the points of every other registered user become the popularity of the display.
Once you are signed in, a heart appears in the top right corner of each display's photo in lists, and a Favorite button appears on each display's page. Tap the outline heart () and it fills in (), making the display a favorite.
To adjust the points for your favorites, open My favorites from the account menu at the top right of any page (or the Favorites tab at the bottom of the screen on a phone). Enter the points next to each display, then press Save Points or the new points will be lost.
How do I remove a display from my favorite list?
Tap the filled heart () on the display's photo, or the Favorited button on the display's page. You can also do this from My favorites, which lists all of your favorites. You will be asked to confirm, because removing a favorite also removes any points you assigned to it.
I don't want my display listed on this site.
If you own the display and wish to have it removed, please contact admin@cooldisplays.net. If the display is no longer being setup each year, deactiving the display may be better than removing it.
What if a display is no longer active?
Displays can be active or inactive. Inactive displays still appear on the site to share historic information, but appear differently on maps. To mark a display as inactive, edit the display. Under Key Information change the Active field to No.
Which displays can I edit?
All of them! The site allows any display to be edited by any registered users. Note that any edits which violate the Terms of Service may be reverted.
